Published by Daniel Lewis on June 14, 2019

The Anthony Davis trade set the stage for what could be a wild, unpredictable NBA draft.  The New Orleans Pelicans’ first overall pick is as good as made, with Zion Williamson serving as the perfect piece to replace Davis as their franchise cornerstone.  However, beyond Williamson and likely No. 2 overall pick Ja Morant, this year’s draft remains largely unsettled.

Below are pick-by-pick predictions of the lottery picks of the 2019 NBA Draft:

1. New Orleans Pelicans: F Zion Williamson, Duke

2. Memphis Grizzlies: PG Ja Morant, Murray State

3. New York Knicks: F R.J. Barrett, Duke

4. Atlanta Hawks (from New Orleans Pelicans via Los Angeles Lakers): SF DeAndre Hunter, Virginia

5. Cleveland Cavaliers: SG Jarrett Culver, Texas Tech

6. Minnesota Timberwolves (from Phoenix Suns): PG Coby White, North Carolina

7. Chicago Bulls: PG Darius Garland, Vanderbilt

8. New Orleans Pelicans: C Jaxson Hayes, Texas

9. Washington Wizards: PF Sekou Doumboya, France

10. Atlanta Hawks (from Dallas Mavericks): SG Cameron Reddish, Duke

11. Phoenix Suns (from Minnesota Timberwolves): PF Brandon Clarke, Gonzaga

12. Charlotte Hornets: C Goga Bitadze, Georgia

13. Miami Heat: PG Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Virginia Tech

14. Boston Celtics (from Sacramento Kings): SG Tyler Herro, Kentucky
